The travel packages have been curated based on a recent survey on travel demands of defence personnel

udChalo, a consumer tech company that exclusively caters to the armed forces of India, has forayed into offering curated and customised collection of travel and tourism packages for its audience. Observing an uptick in demand for travel and tourism among defence personnel and veterans in the post-Covid era, the decision was part of the strategic expansion plan for the startup.   

A recent on-ground survey of jawans suggested that more than 40% of army personnel are looking forward to travel in 2022 during their holidays. Since the pandemic is officially over and the restrictions on travel norms have been relaxed, jawans are looking forward to plan their travels with their family and dependents. A large proportion of these participants would choose holy pilgrimage destinations like Shirdi and Vaishnodevi while the rest are keen on travelling to destinations with scenic beauty and serendipity such as Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh.  

The travel packages have been curated by udChalo based on these demands.
