Thirumalai J has also joined the hotel as Chief Engineer

The Westin Chennai Velachery has announced the appointment of Manjula Lakshmanan as Assistant Director of Human Resources. Lakshmanan had begun her career as Assistant HR at Atlantic Hotel and then moved to Radisson Blu as HR Executive. She had, in 2015, joined Courtyard by Marriott Chennai as Assistant Manager before moving onto Novotel & Ibis Complex Chennai OMR as Talent and Culture Manager. She has an experience of more than 10 years and has played important roles in key hirings across Accor and Marriott International. She is well known in Chennai for the initiatives taken in the areas of staff care and career growth.

The hotel has also announced Thirumalai J been appointed as Chief Engineer. Thirumalai, who has more than 15 years of experience, began his career in the hospitality sector with Westin Hyderabad in 2011 asAssistant Maintenance Manager. He then moved on to Escapes Kochi, Group of Relais Chateaux and the Le Royal Meriden Chennai as Chief Engineer. His last appointment was at Shoreview Hospitality Private Limited. At Westin Chennai, he will be heading the engineering department to ensure brand compliant processes and in accordance with the need of the hour. He would also be ensuring that the processes promote environment consciousness and wellness.
