The Westin Mumbai Garden City brings Vikas Singh on board as Executive Chef

To oversee culinary operations, brand programme, quality and hygiene assurance, team building and business strategy for all F&B venues

Vikas Singh has been appointed as the Executive Chef at The Westin Mumbai Garden City. Chef Vikas’ new role and responsibilities will include overseeing all the culinary operations, brand programme, quality and hygiene assurance, team building and business strategy for F&B venues of the hotel which include Prego, the finest Italian restaurant in Mumbai; Kangan which is acclaimed for its breath-taking northwest frontier dishes and Seasonal Tastes, an all-day dining venue serving international cuisines as well as Eighteen The Lounge and banquets.

Chef Vikas is a resilient learner and has many accolades to his name, having had an illustrious career spanning over 13 years. He has been a part of the Marriott International family since 2013. A few of the prestigious properties where he has cooked up a gastronomic storm include Courtyard by Marriott Ahmedabad and Marriott Whitefield Bengaluru. He explored his cuisine palate whilst working with Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai where he worked with internationally renowned Michelin Star chefs. This upgraded skillset led him to succeed in securing the Executive Chef position at Hyatt Regency, Kolkata, which was his last assignment.
