Taj City Centre Gurugram appoints Surinder Singh as General Manager. In his new role as Area Director – Dwarka & Haryana and General Manager – Taj City Centre Gurugram, Singh will be spearheading operations at Taj City Centre Gurugram. Besides, he will be responsible for Vivanta New Delhi, Dwarka and other hotels in Haryana including Vivanta Surajkund and The Gateway Resort Damdama Lake, Gurgaon.

Speaking on his appointment Singh commented, “With a tremendously enriching journey with the IHCL family, I am truly delighted about my new role not just in the Millennium City but also the other regions that I shall be spearheading. With an experience of over three decades, Singh has held leadership positions and has been associated with renowned properties of The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL). Singh joins Taj City Centre Gurugram, after his successful tenure as General Manager at key hotels such as Taj Chandigarh; Taj Mahal, Lucknow; Taj Green Cove Resort & Spa, Kovalam; Vivanta New Delhi, Dwarka and Blue Diamond Pune - IHCL SeleQtions. 

His expertise lies in strategic leadership, ensuring margin enhancement and overall operational excellence while driving guest satisfaction. Singh carries a highly result-oriented outlook and believes in working with a strong focus on quality and strategy.   

His encyclopedic knowledge of the industry and his ability to collaborate across teams has contributed to his success. In his leisure time, Singh enjoys reading, playing squash and badminton and has always been passionate about cooking.
