COURTYARD BY Marriott Pune Chakan announced the appointment of Shakti Bhushan Srivastava as the Rooms Division Manager. Born and brought up in Lucknow, Srivastava is passionate about travel and interacting with people. He has completed his Bachelor’s degree in Travel and Tourism Management from the University of Lucknow.

With an experience of more than 15 years in Front Office and Rooms Division, Srivastava has a comprehensive skill set and knowledge in Room Operations. In his 15+ years long career he has worked in various leading properties like Le Méridien Pune, Radisson MBD Noida, Micros Fidelio, Sheraton Bangalore at Brigade Gateway, Le Méridien Cochin, Four Points by Sheraton Vizag & Novotel Visakhapatnam, Grand Mercure Mysuru.

He is a self-motivated individual and an extraordinary leader who loves to lead his team. He firmly believes that learning is an ongoing and continuous process and one should never stop learning. His expertise lies in managing and coordinating of all room area departments and also planning, developing, implementing and evaluating the quality of the property’s guest room.

As the Rooms Division Manager, his responsibilities comprise of: improving guest satisfaction by ensuring that the Rooms Division meet the brand’s standards, target customer needs, focus on growing revenues and maximize the financial performance of the department. In addition to that, he will also lead both the Front Office and Housekeeping teams while assisting with meeting or exceeding property goals.
