Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel appoints Nihal Kurian as DoSM
To be responsible for planning and implementing of the hotel’s sales and marketing strategy, maximising hotel’s revenues, exploring business opportunities
Nihal Kurian has been appointed as the Director of Sales & Marketing at Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel. His core responsibilities will include planning and implementing of the hotel’s sales and marketing strategy, maximising hotel’s revenues, exploring business opportunities through events, setting annual budgets, forecasting, analysing revenue reports and strategy amongst others.
Kurian is a result-oriented and passionate sale’s professional with a wealth of experience in enhancing sales, marketing, and revenue streams. As an individual with over 13 years of experience in the hospitality industry spanning across India, Kurian boasts an impressive resumé. Through astute planning, account management, market and customer insight, and the identification of innovative solutions, he has created a portfolio with a proven track record of outperforming market-leading competitors.
Prior to joining Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel, Kurian was the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Hilton Garden Inn Pune. Kurian got his MBA in Marketing from James Cook University in Singapore after which he began his career at the JW Marriott Hotel Pune in 2010 where he stayed for seven years, working up to Senior Sales Manager. He was then transferred to Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield as Assistant Director and then to Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru Whitefield as Director of Sales. His career has also seen him through other managerial and directorial roles in some of the leading hospitality brands.
