Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel appoints G Manivannan as Pastry Chef

To be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's bakeries and confectioneries

Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel has announced the appointment of G Manivannan as the new Pastry Chef. With more than 12 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, Chef Manivannan is a driven culinary professional who has worked with several top-tier 5-star hotels in India and Dubai.

In his new role, Chef Manivannan will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's bakeries and confectioneries, from ensuring smooth and efficient working of the restaurant, develop the new menus & specialties along with the executive and sous chefs, to training the staff, ensuring economy and food control, checking food wastage and ensuring proper utilisation of raw materials. His experience, combined with his formal education, is expected to enable him to bring innovative and fresh ideas to the hotel's dessert offerings. 

Throughout his career, Chef Manivannan has been known for his creative approach and ideas in the field of pastry-making. He has worked with renowned brands such as Park Hyatt Hyderabad, Taj MG Road Bengaluru, The Ritz-Carlton Bengaluru, One&Only Royal Mirage Dubai and Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru, The Raintree Hotel, Chennai and Quality Inn Sabari, Chennai.
