Commenting on the tradition, Vibhas Prasad, Director, Leisure Hotels Group, said "As per legend, Lord Brahma once proclaimed that taking a bath or dip in the holy water of the Ganges during Kumbh will liberate humans from their sins. Haridwar is one of the holiest cities for Hindus in the world, also called the "Gateway to the Gods". Pilgrims, spirituality seekers and tourists from all over the world arrive in the city around Kumbh to revere, relish and relax. The Mela is attended by millions of devotees from across the world who take a dip in the holy waters as penance."

Prasad added, "We've adopted a cautious approach at our hotels keeping in mind the strict safety protocols while offering a multitude of experiences to the spiritual travelers and explorers coming to take the royale bath. Besides the most luxurious accommodation at the destinations, our hotels are also serving "Satvik" food curated with other regional and multi-cuisines to indulge from. Other facilities include escorted daily baths, Ayurvedic Spa, Session with Astrologer and Bhajan & Kirtan, etc."

The hotel group had established a Dharmshala called 'Haveli Hari Ganga' in Haridwar in 1915 and refurbished it as a luxury heritage resort in 2003. Another heritage property located in Har-Ki-Pauri, Haridwar, was restored as 'Ganga Lahari.'

The group also owns the largest resort in Rishikesh called 'Aloha On The Ganges.' Moreover, dedicated to millennial travellers, the group had recently launched The Hideaway Bedzzz, an upscale hotel near Laxman Jhula. "With the recent opening up of The Hideaway Bedzzz in Rishikesh we now have two Hotels each in Haridwar & Rishikesh which offer this perfect view," Prasad concluded.
