THIS NEWCOMER at DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj is winning hearts through its scrumptious offerings of European and Mediterranean cuisine. Le Cantine has opened its door for the food veterans offering outdoor seating, wood-fired oven, craft cocktails, classic cocktails and artisanal coffee. The menu at Le Cantine caters to a diverse and eclectic diner. The space is designed to cater a casual catch-up over artisanal coffee, small bites, large plates, baked goods, tea blends, elegant cocktails, generous pours and hearty portions.

The interiors are nicely done with wooden touch and feel. With the hint of green shades in between, the café reflects freshness. The wall adjacent to the seating area has framed paintings of herbs and ingredients used in the cooking. Chef at the Café has given special attention to maintain the taste and delicacy of each dish served. Chilli and garlic butter prawns, for instance, comes with a succulent flavour of butter and chilli. It is served with a super crunchy bread that makes it a perfect combo.

Like a lot of restaurants, Le Cantine too has the small and large plates concept on their menu which eases out for the customers to pick and choose dishes in varieties. Salad section in the menu is a win-win situation for all with its wide range. Torched Burrito salad among them stands out with the amalgamation of beetroot, arugula, and fig vinaigrette. Other iconic dishes that cannot be missed out are Risotto Chitara, Sous vide chicken breast and Baked Philadelphia cheesecake.

Though Le Cantine has not received their liquor license yet, their selection of mocktails and cocktails are quite decent. Standing in midst of the mall, Le Cantine is truly creating a remark on the notion for comfort food.
