JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity comes on board as official India hospitality partner for IDCA for DICC T20 Champions Trophy 2022 (UAE)

The upcoming tournament will be held between October 1 and October 9 in Ajman, near Sharjah, UAE

JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity has come on board with Indian Deaf Cricket Association (IDCA) as the official India hospitality partner for the upcoming Deaf International Cricket Council (DICC) T20 Champions Trophy 2022 (UAE) to be held from October 1st to 9th in Sharjah, UAE. As the official hospitality partner, JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity hosted a charity dinner yesterday which was well attended by sponsors, IDCA team, Board members and dignitaries, encouraging the team to give their best.  Also present at the evening gala dinner as a Special Guest was Vidisha Baliyan who won the Deaf Miss World 2019 title, a lawn tennis player and has represented India in the 2017 Deflympics. Present on the occasion to wish the team were Kanika Dewan, Director, Shikhar Dhawan Foundation and Jitten Vir Bhasin, CEO, Yuvraj Singh Group, among other dignitaries.

Speaking about the collaboration, Roma Balwani, CEO, Indian Deaf Cricket Association, stated, “We are elated beyond words to partner with JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity for the upcoming DICC T20 Championship Trophy. We are thankful for the faith they have shown in us and the support they have extended to our team. This generous gesture will motivate our team to perform better in the field and fill them with enthusiasm. Along with this, it will also help to promote sports among the specially abled community in India.”
