The 'Monsoon Menu' can be ordered and delivered through “Marriott Bonvoy on Wheels'' food delivery service.

The Monsoon season has always been synonymous with piping hot, soulful comfort food. To bring to its patrons a heart-warming experience, JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar has launched a specially curated ‘Monsoon Menu’. The 'Monsoon Menu' can be ordered and delivered through “Marriott Bonvoy on Wheels'' food delivery service.

Commenting on the ideation behind the menu, Rajan Vasandi, Jr. Sous Chef, JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, says, "The primary idea behind the Monsoon menu as the name suggests was to have guests enjoy the monsoon weather in Mumbai with food items synonymous with the rains. The hot chocolate, onion rings, chicken wings, sliders etc evoke a different emotion which is experienced in the monsoon season primarily."

The USP of the menu, Vasandi says is delivering warm, comforting monsoon favourites at their customer's doorstep which will uplift their mood on gloomy days. The meal experience is prepared with utmost care, necessary hygiene and safety standards.

The menu includes signature flavoursome, crispy monsoon eats such as Cheesy Chole-Masala Quiche (Chickpea masala, cheddar cheese, mint sauce), Tandoori Baby-Corn ( Marinated baby corn roasted in ‘tandoor’, mint chutney), Aloo Palak Pakoda Sliders ( Potato and spinach fritters, mini bun, garlic chutney, mint chutney), Malwani Style Fried Calamari ( Crispy squid rings with malwani spices, spicy sauce), Chicken Mushroom Charcoal Sliders ( Crumbed chicken, sautéed mushroom, cheddar cheese, charcoal bun, french fries) amongst the others. 

JW signature dishes, Chef Vasandi picks from the Monsoon Menu are 'Hot Chocolate', 'Toasted Bombay Vegetable Sandwich' and 'Schezwan Chicken Wings'.  Their Hot Chocolate is paired with classic marshmallows and crispy pistachio churros for a delectable experience. Toasted Bombay Vegetable Sandwich, Chef Vasandi says is their ode to the iconic Mumbai toastie, the one which is synonymous to Mumbai street food. 

"For the meat lovers, the Schezwan Chicken Wings, are a perfect monsoon staple," he concludes. 

The Monsoon Menu has already started from Wednesday and the orders will be delivered from 12 pm to 8 pm.
