ITC Narmada recently announced the appointment of Chef Wang Peng as Master Chef – Chinese Cuisine. A well-travelled individual, Chef Wang has showcased his culinary prowess and intricate cooking styles in Oriental and Pan Asian cuisine for over 22 years.
At ITC Narmada, he will oversee the curation of offerings at the hotel’s signature Chinese and Hunan cuisine restaurant, Yi Jing. Chef Wang brought authentic Chinese flavours to the signature restaurants of ITC Hotels across India, and he will continue the legacy, adding his culinary magic to the preparations at ITC Narmada too.
A culinary genius, Chef Wang is a veteran when it comes to Chinese food. He is a highly process-oriented professional and comes with an in-depth knowledge of ingredients and cooking styles. Having travelled across the globe, he has showcased the finest from a repertoire of Chinese preparations in Thailand, Beijing, UAE, and India.

Hailing from Xian known for its noodles, Chef Wang has mastered the art and craft of noodle making. He curates handmade noodle varieties such as La Mian (pulled), Dao Xao Mian (cut), Biang Biang (stretched), among various others. Over the years, he has mastered the skill of preparing several varieties of dim sums & hand-made noodles.
