IHCL holds second edition of Cooksmiths at The Connaught, New Delhi

The first edition had been conducted at President, Mumbai

IHCL SeleQtions recently launched Cooksmiths in association with WestStyleClub, a one-day activity aimed at inspiring young minds while allowing them to hone their cooking skills under the guidance of Chefs and mentors. While the first cook-off was held at President, Mumbai, the second edition was held at The Connaught, New Delhi on April 23 and the next edition is scheduled at Blue Diamond, Pune – IHCL SeleQtions Hotels. 

The Cooksmiths 2022 saw celebrity Chef Harangad Sigh and Creative Director and Food Enthusiast Sneha Arora as guides.  Taljinder Singh, Senior Vice President SeleQtions & Mumbai, said, “In line with our commitment of creating unique experiences, Cooksmiths is an endeavour to engage young minds and fuel creativity. Cooksmiths offers them a unique platform to discover not just food but also harness imagination, empowerment and creativity.”  

Eighteen kids, aged between eight and 13, competed with each other before six finalists competed to win the Cooksmiths title at The Connaught, New Delhi.

The culinary knowledge of the children was commendable and their enthusiasm filled the air along with happy conversations and the delicious aroma of their dishes.”  The next chapter of the event is planned at Blue Diamond, Pune on May 13 and 14.
