Hyatt Centric Downtown Sacramento, the new lifestyle hotel for adventurous travellers

The 172-key lifestyle hotel's design celebrates the location's storeyed past while appealing to today's savvy traveller

Hyatt and Presidio Companies has opened Hyatt Centric Downtown Sacramento, a new lifestyle hotel designed for adventurous travellers seeking an experience in the heart of the action. Presidio Companies owns the property, which is managed by Evolution Hospitality, Aimbridge Hospitality's lifestyle operating division. The hotel, which is adjacent to the Golden 1 Center and Downtown Commons (DOCO), has 172 guestrooms and suites, 2,000 sq ft meeting space, and a fitness centre.

The Clayton Club rooftop lounge, located on the sixth floor, pays homage to the prohibition era and the music scene that was entertained at the original Clayton Club. Chef Ravin Patel, a native Sacramentan and integral member of the farm-to-fork movement, helms the kitchen and showcases his mastery of small plates that celebrate the region's melting pot of cuisines alongside unique craft cocktails. The 7th Street Standard Restaurant, an American restaurant and bar also led by chef Patel, is located on the ground level and features a bar and dining room.

“This property is brimming with details that nod to the sparkling past while celebrating the future of the destination through a playful interpretation of local culture, art, and points of interest, we are honoured to present this hotel to a new generation of guests and look forward to seeing the hotel assume its rightful place at the centre of Sacramento’s bustling downtown scene,” said Guneet Bajwa, Managing Principal, Presidio Companies.
