Chef Cong Yong Li appointed Chef de Cuisine at Hyatt Regency, Trivandrum

His extensive knowledge of Sichuanese flavours makes him the perfect choice for the role

Cong Yong Li has joined Hyatt Regency Trivandrum as their new Chef de Cuisine. After having proved his mettle in the best kitchens of China for eight years, Yong Li joined the Grand Hyatt team in Mumbai and then the China House in Hyatt Regency Ahmedabad. His skills and experience of over 18 years is brought to the forefront as he joins the team in Hyatt Regency in Trivandrum where he will be the Chef de Cuisine.

Popularly known as Chef Li, he has been instrumental in opening specialty hotels across various Hyatts in India. His expertise in traditional Chinese cuisine and his mastery of the authentic flavours from his hometown and the traditional flavours of the Sichuan Province in China has made his food popular among the Indian crowd. Inspired by his mother and the delicacies she created, his flavours take the connoisseur through a journey of the authentic, spicy flavorsome routes of his small hometown in China. His extensive knowledge of the Sichuanese flavours makes him the perfect choice for the role.

On joining Hyatt Regency Trivandrum, Chef Li says, “I’m excited about joining the team. I have had an amazing time with the group, both in Ahmedabad and Mumbai.
