Association of Hospitality Professionals Welfare (India) organised Hospitality Leaders meet at S.K. Mukherji Stadium, Panjim, Goa on September 21, 2022.
Almost 800 Executive Members of the association came from across India to support the industry after Covid -19 pandemic, said Pradeep K Chandel - Founder Chairman & National President - AHPWI.
After a gap of two and half years, this is the biggest meet in the Western India Chapter supported by AHPWI in Goa.
During the meet, it was highlighted that during the tough time of the pandemic for the hospitality industry, the AHPWI team worked hard to support the people at large across India. It distributed food packets, medical kits and rooms and other facilities to people in need across India.
Chandel also started Hospitality Ki PaathShala along with Sudhir Andros to educate 50,000 students in coming years. He aims to uplift the boys and girls from villages by providing them online and offline education.
The agenda of the meeting included discussions on topics such as Food stalls, Chef Competition and Why Hotel Management courses are losing their charm. Will be the topic of the main agenda of the meeting today.
