NRAI Appoints Rahul Singh, Founder and CEO of The Beer Café as its Vice President

Prior to being named as its Vice President, Singh was most recently associated with NRAI as the Honorary Secretary and led its previous Managing Committee during one of the most difficult years faced by the industry of late. He also spearheaded the battle against the Highway Liquor Ban and was instrumental in making bars on highway stretches within municipal limits legally operational once again.

Rahul Singh, Founder and CEO of The Beer Café, has been elected as the Vice President of the National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI).The announcement was made at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of NRAI that took place at India Nightlife Convention and Awards (INCA) in Mumbai. The Beer Café was also recognized as the ‘Best Beer Bar’ by the INCA 2017 jury panel, marking the second consecutive year that the award was won by India’s leading alco-beverage chain.

He also spearheaded the battle against the Highway Liquor Ban and was instrumental in making bars on highway stretches within municipal limits legally operational once again.

The announcement marks yet another landmark in his distinguished career. Despite having been a complete outsider from a different profession and background, Rahul has carved his niche as one of the leading restaurateurs and F&B pioneers in India on the back of his entrepreneurial vision, determination, and innovativeness. He has been the driving force behind The Beer Café’s astounding success and continues to lead the company’s growth from the front.
