In his new role, he brings his progressive experience of hospitality and dynamic knowledge base to make this hotel a brand icon in Kochi

Four Points by Sheraton Kochi Infopark has appointed Vikas Kumar as its new General Manager. With an extensive gamut of experience of more than 19 years in the hospitality industry and a decade spent with Marriott International Hotels, he shall lead the executive team of the hotel. In his new role, he brings his progressive experience of hospitality and dynamic knowledge base to make this hotel a brand icon in Kochi. 

In his most recent role as General Manager at The Westin Pushkar Resort and Spa, Kumar scaled up the positioning of the resort to its deserved prominence which resulted in a 24 per cent ADR increase.

“At Four Points, my primary vision is to deliver the guests our brand values - a combination of Honest, Uncomplicated & Comfort stay through modern experiences at every touchpoint,” said Vikas Kumar, General Manager, Four Points by Sheraton Kochi Infopark.

He commenced his professional journey with Ananda in the Himalayas and worked his way up with prestigious hospitality chains globally as part of the pre-opening & well-established hotels - The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace, Sheraton Grand Bangalore at Brigade Gateway, Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Business Park & Courtyard by Marriott Kochi Airport. Before joining the rank as General Manager, he was Director of Beverage & Food at W Retreat & Spa Maldives, and Director of Operations at JW Marriott Chandigarh. Additionally, he has held various F&B designations at IHCL & Accor Hotels. The rich experience comes from growing distinctive hallmark brands of hotels. 

Kumar is passionate about fitness and follows an active regime to keep both his mind and body energised.
