Tree of Life Resorts and Hotels announces opening of Junoon in the Hills

The boutique resort is located in the Kumaon Hills in a remote village between Nainital and Ranikhet

Tree of Life Resorts and Hotels, an experiential resort chain with 14 properties across India, has announced the opening of ‘Junoon in the Hills’ in a remote village halfway between Nainital and Ranikhet in the Kumaon Hills. This boutique resort aims to offer the views and a countryside getaway to the mountains of Nainital.

The brand has the finest collection of luxury boutique experiences to unwind, relax and re-discover yourself. The concept behind the chain is to have intimate and serene setups, close to and yet away from cities. Currently, Tree of Life has 14 properties across Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh.

Tree of Life Junoon in the Hills is set over three acres of land with six accommodations, giving views of the countryside. Each room has an area of around 200-260 square feet. The drawing rooms are equipped with heated floors and electric blanket for winters. The property has a wood-burning stove and an open fireplace in the drawing room.

Making the important announcement, Akhil Anand, Director at Tree of Life Resorts and Hotels, said, “As we continue to expand our footprints across the country, this is the second property launched to date this year. In response to the rapidly growing demand for private villas and cottages, in early 2021, we created a new brand called Tree of Life Collections to cater to this segment. This brand offers unique and private villas in offbeat destinations which allow you to reconnect with nature and your loved ones. Inventory sizes are between three and six rooms with large common and outdoor areas. This makes it an ideal destination for a group of six to 12 people to book such destinations exclusively for themselves. All services would be tailor-made based on the group’s individual requirements. Tree of Life Junoon in The Hills is our fourth property under this brand and we expect to take this number to about 15 within the next two years.”
