The Westin Sohna Resort and Spa appoints Nivedita Avasthi as new General Manager

The Westin Sohna Resort and Spa has appointed Nivedita Avasthi as the new General Manager. Set amidst vast acres of lush-landscaped gardens with 97 plush rooms and private villas, the luxury resort is a green oasis in the lap of Nature offering the perfect amalgam of tranquility along with a plethora of recreational activities for all age groups and eclectic food and beverage offerings.

A seasoned and versatile hospitality professional, Avasthi brings with her over two decades of illustrious experience across major hospitality brands such as IHG, Hilton, and Radisson. In her last assignment she spearheaded the Holiday Inn, Dhaka City Centre as the pre-opening General Manager. A result- oriented leader driven by passion and creativity, with a growth trajectory spanning significant career defining roles, she is a strong communicator with a proven track record of developing productive relationships and facilitating effective stakeholder management. Over the years, she has honed her skills in managing a diverse team of people along with championing operational excellence.

Having shouldered key responsibilities to facilitate growth tactics and plans across leading hotels, she will now bring newer perspectives to further strengthen the market position of the resort. Her appointment as the General Manager of the resort will witness Avasthi, an alumnus of the Institute of Hotel Management, Lucknow, in an all-encompassing role instrumental in ensuring that the resort continues to implement strategic initiatives delivering financial success in tandem with guest delight.
