The Westin Chennai Velachery welcomed the yuletide season with a Christmas Tree Lighting evening. The annual tree lighting ceremony is symbolic of ushering the festive spirit, good times and a reminder to celebrate the merriest time of the year. The event was attended by city’s crème de la crème who joined in to celebrate the evening over Christmas carols, Hors d’oeuvres and delectable beverages such as Hot Buttered Rum and Christmas Punch.

General Manager Lakshmanan Ramanathan addressed the gathering and welcomed everyone to the hotel’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting event and invited all the little guests to join him in lighting the Christmas tree and inaugurating the beginning of the festive season.
