The Leela Bhartiya City Bengaluru elevates two core personnel

Rohit Pandey has been elevated to the post of Hotel Manager while Shahnaaz Anjum has become the Food and Beverage Manager

The Leela Bhartiya City Bengaluru recently elevated two of their core personnel. Rohit Pandey, who has been with the property since its pre-opening days, has been promoted from Executive Assistant F&B Manager to Hotel Manager and Shahnaaz Anjum from Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to Food and Beverage Manager.

With over two decades of experience working with some of the finest, luxury properties across Thailand, Seychelles, Maldives and India, Pandey champions in pre-openings with a proven record of six successful pre-openings so far. Starting his career with The Oberoi group at Trident Agra, he has held various managerial roles during his stint with the One & Only Reethi Rah Maldives, Anantara Resort Maldives, Central Hotels & Resorts and Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel, among others. 

Anjum, on the other hand, is a strategic business leader in managing overall F&B operations and has been in the industry for close to 13 years. Her expertise lies in single-handedly managing the F&B operations of multiple outlets and executing enhanced services for improved guest experiences. Beginning her career with The Westin Hyderabad, she gradually forayed into leadership roles while working with luxury and business properties both in India and internationally such as Sheraton Grand Bangalore, JW Marriott Bengaluru, Westin and Le Meridian Bahrain, Courtyard by Marriott Kochi and The Leela Palace Chennai.  

In his current position, Pandey will be responsible for overseeing the hotel's operations across all functions, aiming for operational excellence, achieving high levels of guest satisfaction and driving revenues across all segments along with maintaining brand standards. Meanwhile, Anjum will be handling all aspects related to the F&B division, thereby focusing on delivering quality guest experiences and relations.
