To be responsible for managing the functions of the housekeeping department at all the Clarks properties spread across India

The Clarks Hotels & Resorts has appointed Papri Das as Corporate Housekeeper. Das has more than 27 years of experience in hospitality management. She will be responsible for managing the functions of the housekeeping department at all the Clarks properties spread across India.

Das has worked in diverse portfolios in the hospitality industry. She has worked with renowned brands like Hyatt, Jaypee, Taj, Starwood, Marriott and Shangri-La.

Prior to the present assignment, she was working as an Executive Housekeeper with Shangri-La Eros New Delhi. In her current job role, she will be responsible for developing new housekeeping processes, standardisation of brand standards, maintaining beautification, aesthetics and hygiene.

Das said, “After the pandemic a huge shift has happened in the hospitality sector. Aesthetically cleaning to clinically cleaning is the need of the hour and this would be my primary focus. Customers are more aware and while choosing a property they look at the cleanliness and hygiene standards, maintained by the respective property. As a Corporate Housekeeper, my priority is to maintain brand standards and implement strict checks around sanitisation on each of Clark’s properties. At the same time, I will put a proper housekeeping process in place which will be equivalent to international standards. Also, regular training will be scheduled for housekeeping staff, guiding them on new process implementation.”
