Skyview Patnitop by Empyrean to reopen from October 10, 2020

New offsite activities such as hiking, mountain biking and birding in the surrounding hills are being introduced for outdoor enthusiasts and those looking for safe but invigorating open air activities in post Covid times.

Skyview Patnitop by Empyrean, the recently launched hospitality venture of Empyrean Skyview Private Limited (ESPPL) will officially reopen for visitors starting October 10, 2020 on weekends till November 30, 2020.

During the lockdown due to the pandemic, the site was comprehensively audited for Covid preparedness by SGS - for inspection, verification, testing and certification company. A Covid-ready compliance certificate of safety has been issued to ESPPL just before the reopening making it a safe destination for all visitors and employees with stringent SoP’s like online bookings, thermal screening, social distancing, sanitization routines and digital menus, etc in place.

Set over 11 acres in a scenic countryside, comprising a ropeway, and adventure sports such as trekking, biking, hiking, birding, offsite alongwith  a range of F&B offerings, as well as accommodation for every taste and pocket.

It has transformed Patnitop into a new tourist destination with its ropeway that connects Sanget, a hamlet where the lower terminal is situated to welcome visitors, to Patnitop, the upper terminal. It has also taken a lead in green mobility and has eliminated a 45-60 minute road journey by way of a gondola ride of over 2.8 kms of inclined destination in just 10-12 minutes.

In addition to onsite and offsite activities at Skyview Patnitop, there are several places to sightsee and explore, namely Sanasar, Nathatop and temples such as the 600 year-old Naag Mandir and other ancient places of worship,” he added.

Introducing Skyview Adventure Valley

Over 100 species of birds found, include the Red billed blue magpie, Brown rock chat, Pied bush chat, Grey bush chat, Scaly bellied woodpecker, Black throated tit, Great tit, Black-lored tit, Bar winged tree creeper, Brown fronted woodpecker, Grey treepie,  Blue whistling thrush, Shikra Common myna and Jungle myna to name a few. Birders are  led by a naturalist who helps track, observe and photograph different species.

 All activities adhere to and are operated under international safety standards

Since no holiday or travel is complete without food and shopping. An added attraction for visitors to Skyview Patnitop is the extensive F&B offering that includes a 100% vegetarian restaurant; an indoor food court, coffee shop and street food carts to cater to varied tastes and preferences.

Skyview Patnitop’s Hands of Gold is offering visitors a chance to purchase the finest honey, handicraft items, and dry fruits from J&K on site. Soon, a pro shop offering all adventure and sports related equipment and gear will also open.
