Goswami has been part of The Ritz-Carlton, Pune team since December 2020 and has climbed up the ranks to take over this role. He has been instrumental in redefining trends and service strategy to ensure that the guests experience an essence of the destination through its food and beverage offerings. With experience across luxury brands across Asia and Middle East, he has the ability to lead multicultural and cross-disciplinary teams, and to navigate complex challenges across food and beverage verticals.
Excellent in interpersonal and communication skills, Goswami has fostered a highly motivated and cohesive team at The Ritz-Carlton, Pune. His drive to safeguard brand reputation, while delivering financial performance quickly made him rise through the ranks from Restaurants and Bar Manager to Director of Restaurants and Bar.
He comes with 12 years of experience with luxury hospitality brands. Goswami joined The Ritz-Carlton, Pune team after multiple successful stints in India and abroad. He began his career at the Oberoi Amarvillas as a server where his proficiency coupled with exceptional management skills honed him to become Multiple Restaurant and Banquet Supervisor. Goswami went on to work for many other renowned brands such as Taj Lake Palace and Four Seasons Bahrain Bay. Four Seasons Maldives, was his last assignment prior to his current stint at The Ritz-Carlton, Pune.
Having a family with an Army background, Goswami grew up in different cities across India. Travelling across the country exposed him to different cultures, foods and trends and this is where his passion towards food and beverage and hospitality developed and thrived. He graduated with a diploma in Hotel Management from IHM Jaipur in 2010. With every experience, Goswami hopes to transform the dining experience into an everlasting memory, a notion that that captures the essence of The Ritz-Carlton brand. With his vast exposure to various cultures and cuisines, he aims to continue driving service innovation and brand reputation at the property. He believes his strength lies in his ability to connect with guests. Goswami enjoys catching up on a cricket match and reading in his free time.
