Saarathee, Daikin India partner to unlock opportunities for Professionals with Disabilities

The initiative aims to provide an equal opportunity platform, bringing together persons with disabilities to engage with Daikin across various outsourcing facilities in order to achieve the common goal of economic empowerment

Upholding its commitment to close the disability divide in employment, Daikin India has announced partnership with Saarathee to unlock opportunities for Professionals with Disabilities (PwDs). This initiative aims to provide an equal opportunity platform, bringing together persons with disabilities to engage with Daikin across various outsourcing facilities in order to achieve the common goal of economic empowerment.

Confronting several barriers to equal opportunities at work, professionals with disabilities experience higher rates of unemployment and socio-economic inequalities. To address these challenges, PwDs need to have same access as everyone else to education and job opportunities. At Daikin, we are geared to play an important role in unlocking this access through mentoring and skills development, and by connecting people with disabilities to available employment opportunities and support sustainable livelihood.

“At Saarathee, we believe work is core to human dignity. In today’s era, there is an urgent need to unlock opportunities for persons with disabilities who can deliver & demonstrate high level of productivity and higher retention when compared to regular workforce. Saarathee is focused on creating an enabling environment through policy formulation, digital and physical accessibility, as well as by creating an inclusive ecosystem. We are proud to partner with Daikin India as their outsourcing channel partner, which allows us to unlock opportunities for persons with disabilities and help them build a long-term career,” said Richa Bansal, CEO & Co-Founder, Saarathee.
