To be responsible for preventive maintenance along with overseeing existing and new sustainability projects of the hotel

The Westin Mumbai Garden City has appointed Ravi Patil as the Director of Engineering. He will be responsible for preventive maintenance along with overseeing existing and new sustainability projects of the hotel.

Prior to joining The Westin Mumbai Garden City, Patil held the position of Director of Engineering at Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai. With over 20 years of well-rounded experience, he has worked with other major brands like the JW Marriott, Club Mahindra and Fairmont Hotels. Patil has also been a part of the pre-opening site for Cushman & Wakefield. He brings with him advanced knowledge of building engineering, maintenance and management along with a rich culture adopted at every stint. 

A diploma holder in the field of electrical engineering from the Board of Technical Education, Karnataka, Patil is known for his calm and composure in crisis and strong technical knowledge. A problem solver and an exceptional mentor with a pool of experience, Patil in his new role looks forward to effectively balancing the maintenance and upkeep of the hotel while leading the team to further increase the contribution to the hotel’s sustainability efforts.
