Ras Al Khaimah launches 2023 WMF Minifootball World Cup campaign with free tickets
UAE will kick off the tournament by facing India on the opening day on 26th October

Tickets for the upcoming 2023 WMF Minifootball World Cup in Ras Al Khaimah are now available for booking. The official campaign video for "Home for Everyday Legends", launched alongside the ticket booking platform. The campaign emphasises minifootball's unifying nature and marks its debut in the Middle East. With Ras Al Khaimah’s commitment to making the sport accessible to all, match tickets are available free of charge.
Scheduled from October 26th to November 4th, the competition will feature 32 national teams from around the world vying for the prestigious title. The tournament will begin with group stage matches held from October 26th to 31st, followed by the knockout stages from November 1st to 4th.
Under the theme "Home for Everyday Legends," the 2023 World Cup aims to underscore the relatability of minifootball to amateur players and enthusiasts while acknowledging the skills and talents of players within the communities. The objective is to inspire viewers to appreciate the sport beyond the professional level and recognise the capabilities of these athletes.
The host nation, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), will kick off the tournament by facing India on the opening day, October 26th. Meanwhile, the defending champions, Mexico, will take on Ireland in the first match of the opening match day.
In Group E, Brazil, one of the tournament's strong contenders, will play their first match against Japan on October 27th. Group D features the USA, the former host and winner of the inaugural Minifootball World Cup in 2015, who will start their campaign against Spain.
The 2023 WMF Minifootball World Cup promises to be a celebration as teams from around the world compete for glory on the pitches of Ras Al Khaimah.
