Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, Japan Ambassador Satoshi Suzuki visit Daikin Japanese Institute of Manufacturing Excellence

Kanwaljeet Jawa, Chairman & MD, Daikin India welcomed Ashok Gehlot, Chief Minister of Rajasthan, and Satoshi Suzuki, Ambassador of Japan during his visit to the Daikin Japanese Institute of Manufacturing Excellence (DJIME), Neemrana, Rajasthan on July 7, 2022. Along with the CM, Shakuntala Rawat, Minister of Industries and Commerce, Tikaram Jully, Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, General Administration, Yasuyuki Murahashi, Chief Director General, JETRO, Nakate Shivprasad Madan, MD, RIICO, JK Soni, District Magistrate, Alwar, Kuldeep Ranka, Principal Secretary to CM and Chairman, RIICO and Vinu Gupta, ACS - MSME & Public Enterprise also visited DJIME.

During the visit, CM Gehlot held a closed-door meeting with the Japanese delegation, which indicates a possibility of investment by the Japanese into Rajasthan.

Addressing the gathering during the visit, Jawa said, “Rajasthan, being one of the largest state, is rich in minerals and natural resources. Over the years, an incremental industrial policy and sound infrastructure framework has led to accentuated industrial growth. Neemrana has become the No. 1 choice for corporations providing ease of doing business and investor friendly administrative structure and called ‘Mini Japan’ thanks to its bustling economic and social-cultural growth. The strategic positioning of Rajasthan state covers majority of the Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor [DMIC] influence area and offers reliable vendor ecosystem & workforce.”
