The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore has announced the appointment of Ojas Vagal as the Director of Human Resources. Vagal hails from a prolific career with over 16 years of diverse experience across departments in flagship hotels across the country. 

Vagal started his career in the hospitality industry in the Food & Beverage department at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai. Ojas scaled positions from being an F&B associate growing to an Assistant Restaurant Manager before moving to Human Resources. Having worked as a Learning Manager and Employee Relations Manager, he displayed rare and cherished quality of connecting with team members to ensure their well-being and high morale. The first seven years of his career have been pivotal in establishing his in-depth knowledge of the workings of operations. He has been the Human Resources Manager across leading hotels in Mumbai, Goa and Bangalore.

In his current role, heading the Human Resources Department at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore, he will endeavour to provide exceptional care to each team member to continuously learn and grow at the hotel. In his last role, Vagal headed the Human Resource department at Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru at Embassy One as Assistant Director of People & Culture. Ojas was responsible for Human Resource Administration, Industrial Relations, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Labor Compliances, Payroll Management, Employee Engagement, Employee Benefits and Vendor Liaising at the hotel.
