Aranha will bring over two decades of hospitality experience in Sales, Marketing, Distribution and Operations

Rayan Aranha has been appointed as the General Manager for Novotel Chennai OMR, ibis Chennai OMR and Novotel Chennai SIPCOT. An industry veteran, he has over two decades of hospitality experience in Sales, Marketing, Distribution and Operations. Aranha is currently in his 10th year at Accor, where he started as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Grand Mercure in Bangalore, swiftly moving to operations as Executive Assistant Manager.

He has also worked with Pullman & Novotel New Delhi Aerocity before heading operations at ibis Mumbai Airport. His most recent assignment was with Grand Mercure Bangalore and Grand Mercure Mysore as Cluster General Manager.

Aranha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and has completed his post gradation at SP Jain Institute of Management and Research Mumbai and at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB). He was also part of Accor’s prestigious International Hospitality Management Program (IHMP) run by Academie Accor Singapore and was awarded General Manager of the Year for Accor South Asia in 2019.
