THE VIBRANT dual properties by Accor - Novotel Hotels and Resorts, Goa today appointed Alex Dias as the new Executive Chef. A result-oriented professional with over 26 years of remarkable culinary experience, Alex is renowned for curating dishes with a twist and trying new techniques, to keep coming up with new dishes and recipes.
At Novotel Hotels and Resorts, Goa, Dias’s core responsibilities will include bringing quality and consistency to the table, along with aesthetic presentations, incorporating both modern and traditional trends. He will be focusing on the development of his team, coaching, mentoring them and constantly improving the team knowledge as to how the food should be prepared and presented. He firmly believes in food cost/food wastage control program to avoid food wastage and keeps a monthly profit or loss report.
Prior to joining Accor, Chef Alex has worked with some of the finest brands like Hilton Hotels in Sharjah as the Head Chef, Abu Dhabi National Hotels Compass ME Das Island in Abu Dhabi as the Executive Chef, Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi as the Sous Chef and more.
