Mainak Ray appointed Director of Sales at The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat

To look after boosting rooms and events sales by bringing in new sales and marketing strategies

With over a decade of luxury hospitality sales experience in multiple cities across India, Mainak Ray has been elevated to the position of Director of Sales at The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat. In his current role, Ray would be responsible for implementing new sales and marketing strategies in order to boost rooms and events sales at the hotel.

His key responsibilities include transient and group pricing decisions, preparing budgets and forecasts, developing strategies, curating unique events to support the Rooms as well as F&B sales and positioning the hotel as a preferred wedding destination.

In the past, Ray has worked with hotel brands such as Hyatt, Accor, IHG and Oberoi Hotels & Resorts.
