Lemon Tree Hotels signs a new hotel in Tezpur, Assam

The property will feature 42 well-appointed rooms, complemented by a multicuisine restaurant, a bar, a meeting room, a fitness centre and banquets

Lemon Tree Hotels has announced its latest signing – Lemon Tree Hotel, Tezpur, Assam. The property is expected to be operational by March 2025 and shall be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary and the management arm of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited.  

Lying on the northern banks of Brahmaputra, Tezpur is known as the ‘Cultural Capital of Assam’ and is the oldest city in the most populated North-Eastern state. With picturesque landscapes, snowclad Himalayan ranges all around and beautiful green tea gardens on hill slopes, Tezpur is a favoured destination for travellers. The city is famous for tourist attractions including places of historical and religious significance besides the ones which are naturally beautiful like Nameri National Park, Bura-Chapori Wildlife Sanctuary, Bamuni hills, Agnigarh and more. This property will feature 42 well-appointed rooms, complemented by a multi-cuisine restaurant, a bar, a meeting room, a fitness centre and banquets along with other public areas.
