Arora joined The Oberoi Gurgaon in 2011 after completing rigorous training at OCLD as an Assistant Manager. She assumed a leadership role of Executive Housekeeper with Marriott Hotels at The Westin Gurgaon where she excelled in areas of her expertise – guest experience, training and development, quality assurance, budgeting and performance management.

She joined Hyatt family in 2019 at Grand Hyatt Gurgaon, a pre-opening property at the millennium city of India. Speaking on her three-year journey there, Arora said, “My most memorable career moment was opening of restaurants and event spaces at Grand Hyatt Gurgaon, followed by opening of guest rooms. It was an exhilarating experience to welcome guests and witness them enjoying the property after a much-awaited pre-opening and COVID pandemic.”

At Park Hyatt Hyderabad, she intends to introduce her ‘personalised touch’ that would reflect in operational excellence within the team and uniquely enriching experience for guests. Welcoming Arora to Park Hyatt Hyderabad, Shobhit Sawhney, General Manager, said, “I am very excited to have Kanika join our leadership team. She is an excellent asset at any luxury hotel, and I look forward to working with her to drive the next wave of enhancing guest comfort and experience at Park Hyatt.”
