Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), the country's leading hospitality giant, marked a momentous occasion today with the inauguration of Ginger Mumbai Airport. The unveiling of the 371-key flagship Ginger hotel, strategically positioned near the domestic airport, showcases IHCL's dedication to its lean luxe design and service philosophy, promising a dynamic, contemporary, and seamless hospitality experience for its guests.
Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of IHCL, expressed the significance of the moment, stating, “The opening of Ginger Mumbai Airport is a significant milestone in the transformation journey of the brand, which now has over two-thirds of its operating hotels in the upgraded new lean luxe identity."
Highlighting the potential in India's economic growth and expanding infrastructure, Chhatwal added, “India’s economic growth and rapidly expanding infrastructure present a significant opportunity for the mid-scale segment. Having pioneered the segment in India, IHCL is set to launch similar large-format hotels at Bengaluru and Goa airports, further revolutionising the mid-scale hotel category."
The newly inaugurated 371-key hotel boasts meticulously curated rooms designed to prioritise convenience and comfort, catering to the diverse needs of both business and leisure travelers. Guests can indulge in delectable culinary delights at Qmin, the signature all-day diner, soak up the vibrant atmosphere at the Sports Bar, and maintain their fitness routine at the state-of-the-art fitness center. For business gatherings and social events, the hotel offers an over 3,000-square-foot banquet hall, two meeting rooms, and a lounge.
