IHCL Hotels dominates World Tourism Day awards in Telangana

IHCL Hotels, Hyderabad cluster won six awards across multiple categories

In a display of excellence, the IHCL Hotels, Hyderabad cluster won six awards across multiple categories at the World Tourism Day celebrations, hosted by the Tourism Department of the Government of Telangana. The event took place at the iconic Shilpakala Vedika in Shilparamam. 

The awards were presented by V. Srinivas Goud, the Minister of Prohibition and Excise, Sports and Youth Services, Tourism and Culture, and Archaeology of Telangana State. The Thai Pavilion-Vivanta Hyderabad won the award for Best Restaurant in International Cuisine, while Chef Prashant Kumar, Chef Manpreet Singh, and Chef Akshay Kumar, Executive Chef from IHCL Group, won awards for Best Chef in International Cuisine, Indian Cuisine, and Continental Cuisine, respectively. 

Notably, during the opening remarks and vote of gratitude, the food booths provided by all IHCL hotels in Hyderabad, including Taj Falaknuma Palace, Taj Krishna, Taj Deccan, and Vivanta Hyderabad, earned particular recognition.

As the IHCL team received honour and congratulations, the atmosphere was electrified with excitement and joy. Whistles, raucous cheers, and deafening clapping marked this joyous occasion.
