Hyatt Regency Dehradun appoints its HODs

The Head of Departments is committed to the smooth functioning of the hotel operations along with keeping the brand promise

Soon to open Hyatt Regency Dehradun has appointed its Head of Departments that includes some of the stalwarts of the hospitality industry with several years of experience. The HODs are committed to the smooth functioning of the hotel operations along with keeping the brand promise.

Abid Khan, Chef De Cuisine: Appointed as the Chef De Cuisine for Hyatt Regency Dehradun, he comes with 16 years of widespread culinary experience across Club Mahindra, Golden Tulip, Sarovar and Marriott hotels across India. As the Chef De Cuisine for Banquets, he will be responsible for the entire running of the banquet kitchen. Khan will be supervising the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, training staff, designing and planning menus for all hotel events while maintaining the HACCP standards.

Anupriya Biswas, Housekeeping Manager: She has been appointed as the Housekeeping Manager. Biswas comes with 15 years of elevating experience across Oberoi, Hyatt and Hilton hotels in India with the Hyatt journey being 11 years and counting. She will be responsible for ensuring health, safety and hygiene standards throughout the hotel. Leading a diverse and multi-cultural team, Biswas will be overlooking at all the housekeeping operations of the hotel.

Dharam Raj Yadav, Informations Systems Manager: Yadav has been appointed as the IS Manager. He brings on board 12 years of inspirational experience across Hyatt hotels in India. In his current role as the IT Manager, Yadav will be responsible for the entire IT infrastructure of the hotel. This includes managing servers, desktops, all of the POS applications and network connectivity for organisation while ensuring that the PCI compliances are being met.

Abhinav Singh, Pastry Chef: As the Pastry Chef, he personifies great attention to detail and creativity. With an in depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition, chef will bring the most mesmerizing breads, pastries and cakes at the hotel. He follows basic food chronology, focusing on contemporary style baking techniques in the kitchen.

Abhinav Anand, Learning Manager: He has been appointed as the Learning Manager. He brings along eight years of elevating experience across Radisson, Lalit and Marriott hotels across India. Anand is responsible for the development and training of the hotel staff. He will be focusing on interdepartmental training of the employees, managing and executing employee growth through management training programs, overlooking the industrial trainee program and other areas of employee wellbeing, development in growth.

Manish Chaudhary, Front Office Manager: He has been appointed as the Front Office Manager. He brings nine years of diverse experience across Radisson & Marriott hotels in India. Chaudhary will lead his team to make sure that the guest’s journey from pre- arrival to their departure goes smoothly. Along with guest service, he will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Front Office.

Mayank Batra, Materials Manager: He has been appointed as the Materials Manager. Batra brings 13 years of enriching experience across Ark and Marriott Hotels in India. As the Materials Manager, Batra in his current role will be responsible for the procurement function of the first Hyatt hotel in Uttarakhand.

Nasheet Mushtaque, Director of Events: He has been appointed as the Director of Events. He brings years of enriching experience across Hyatt hotels in India, working in various properties throughout his decade long tenure in Hyatt. Mushtaque will be responsible for the overall smooth operation of the Event Sales department. The role will require him to generate sales leads, converting potential sales to guaranteed business and overall focus on increasing the revenue of the events department.

Pankaj Rawat, Chef De Cuisine: He has been appointed as the Chef De Cuisine. Rawat comes with over 11 years of elevating culinary experience across Marriott and Hilton hotels in India. A passionate chef, Rawat in his current role as the Chef De Cuisine will be responsible for the menu planning and design for the F&B outlets and In Room Dining, staff training, operations supervision and guest feedbacks.

Sumit Punn, Safety and Security Manager: He has been appointed as the Safety and Security Manager. He comes with 14 years of elevating experience across Jaypee, Ramada and Marriott Hotels across India and Australia. in his current role, Punn will be responsible for all areas of security for the entire hotel and the well-being and safety of the hotel guests and staff. He will also be the liaison between the hotel and local authorities.

Tenzin Dolma, Chef De Cuisine: She has been appointed as the Chef De Cuisine. Dolma comes with 18 years of enriching experience across Hyatt, Shangri-La, Lalit and Hilton hotels in India. In her current role, Dolma will be responsible for training staff, supervising the day-to-day kitchen operations and menu planning and design.
