HSMAI India welcomes new Advisory Board members

The Board comprises volunteer leaders from the industry who are thought leaders in strategic management, revenue and distribution, marketing and sales disciplines

The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) India chapter has established its new Advisory Board. It comprises volunteer leaders from the industry who are thought leaders in strategic management, revenue and distribution, marketing and sales disciplines. The Board monitors the landscape of hotel distribution and identifies ways that HSMAI can better serve the discipline. The new members joining Sonnia Singh, Managing Director, HSMAI India, in the Advisory Board are Nikhil Sharma, Regional Director, Eurasia Region, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts; Karishma Singh, Area Director, Finance & Revenue Management (North Area), IHCL; Brij Bhushan Chachra, Vice President - Revenue & Distribution, IHCL; CS Ramachandran, Hotel Revenue Optimisation, Preferred Hotels & Resorts and JP Mohanty, Senior Area Director, Revenue Strategy (South Asia), Marriott International. 

Complementing the work of HSMAI India chapter, the HSMAI India advisory board aims to connect members with common interests across the Indian subcontinent. The advisory board supplement HSMAI’s strategic direction in India through the means of education, special resources, insights, events and collaborations. The advisory board in India will operate through special committees and will aim to connect and collaborate on shared hospitality interests, trends, and workplace experiences. The board  plays a vital advisory role in advancing the interests of HSMAI India to better enhance the careers of the hospitality professionals.  

The India chapter board is “purposeful, innovative, and definitely up to the task of ensuring that it is a value-filled year for HSMAI members and other hospitality professionals.”
