Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai Appoints Sudhakar Appa as the new Director of Engineering

Sudhakar was involved in some major projects, such as the opening of the famous rooftop bar AER – Bar and Lounge and the multi-storey Mansion ballroom space.

FOUR SEASONS Hotel Mumbai has appointed Sudhakar Appa as its new Director of Engineering. Prior to joining Four Seasons, Sudhakar started his career with an apprenticeship program with the Indian Navy, where he earned his Diploma in Electrical Engineering. After completing 20 proud years of service as an Aeronautical Engineer with the Navy, he had an opportunity of joining Luxury Hospitality with the opening of Four Seasons’ very first project in India - Mumbai. Sudhakar joined the team during the construction stages of the hotel and with his dedication, hard work and perseverance, grew up the ranks to Director of Engineering at the hotel in October 2015. Sudhakar was involved in some major projects, such as the opening of the famous rooftop bar AER – Bar and Lounge and the multi-storey Mansion ballroom space.

In September 2016, Sudhakar transferred to Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru as Director of Engineering. He was actively involved in opening of the Voavah Private Island and renovation of the Water Villas. He also led the completion of the new Marine Discovery Center, renovation of the Italian beach club restaurant - Blu, addition of staff accommodation units and roof top Solar Power Installation. When not working, Sudhakar loves to spend time with his Mother.
