Elevating F&B experience at Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa Mahabalipuram

Deva Kumar joins as Executive Chef and Arokyadas Maimarulla takes over as Director of F&B

Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa has appointed two proficient professionals from industry, Arokyadas Maimarulla and Deva Kumar in its F&B operations.

Arokyadas Maimarulla takes over as Director of Food and Beverage. He comes with 14 years of working experience, starting his career from Goa to working in multiple cities and with international brands across India. He is great talent with multiple awards under him and won the “person of the year” in Accor South Asia Awards 2016 for his contribution towards F&B operations. 

Deva Kumar joins as Executive Chef with a combined working experience of 17 years with great knowledge, skills and innovation while working with multiple brands in the industry such as The Oberois, InterContinental Hotels Group, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, The Park Hotels. 

On their appointment, Amit Kumar, General Manager, Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa, Mahabalipuram, said, “We are excited on having two great talents onboard, it’s a great seeing the duo joining our team, their collaboration and effort in our resort will elevate the Sheraton Food & Beverage experience to the next level.”
