Holiday Inn Chandigarh Zirakpur has announced the joining of Deepak Joshi as the Director of Sales.

A Hotel Management graduate with MBA in Marketing, he brings with him 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining The Holiday Inn Chandigarh Zirakpur, Joshi was associated with Courtyard by Marriott Amritsar where he was leading the Sales and Marketing Department. He started his career with Oberoi Hotels and Resorts as a Food & Beverage Assistant and later moved into sales. He then climbed up the ladder working with leading hospitality brands like Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International, IHG and Hyatt Hotels.

In his new role, he will be responsible for leading sales and marketing initiatives, overlooking all aspects of sales and marketing department. He will be responsible for optimising the hotel revenues and developing new and existing business verticals for the hotel. He will also be working very closely with Food and Beverage team to increase visibility and reputation of the hotel among the guests.
