To be responsible for leading and guiding the hotel's sales team in collaborating with other teams to implement successful strategies

The Courtyard by Marriott & Fairfield by Marriott Outer Ring Road has announced the appointment of Kirthi Shetty as its new Director of Sales. Shetty's exceptional track record of success in driving revenue growth and delivering outstanding customer experiences make him an ideal addition to the hotel's dynamic team. 

As the Director of Sales, Shetty will be responsible for leading and guiding the hotel's sales team in collaborating with other teams to implement successful strategies, and identifying areas for improvement. Additionally, Shetty will be instrumental in capitalizing on the hotel's digital footprint and enhancing visibility on social media platforms. 

Shetty did his hotel management graduation from Institute of Hotel Management, Aurangabad. Kirthi started his career in hotel management as a trainee in JW Marriott, Pune in 2012. He later joined Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre & Courtyard by Marriott Hyderabad followed by Courtyard by Marriott, Mumbai International Airport in the year 2013. Post his stint with Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport, he was associated with JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa in 2014. He later joined Courtyard and Fairfield by Marriott ORR in 2018 as the Associate Director of Sales and then was promoted to the Director of Sales for Courtyard and Fairfield by Marriott ORR this February 2023.

Shetty brings with him a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success in the hospitality industry. Notably, he was one of two nominated associates by the Area Director of Sales & Distribution to support the integration effort between Marriott and Starwood hotels. Additionally, he was part of a core team that worked with software developers to enhance the selling experience. He has also been recognised as a participant in Marriott's Future Forward Talent Program, a testament to his consistent strong performance and ambition to succeed. His extensive experience and expertise make him an ideal addition to the dynamic team at Courtyard & Fairfield by Marriott Outer Ring Road.

When not working, he indulges in watching nature and wildlife documentaries. He is an avid foodie and traveller, always keen to experiment and try out something new.
