Celebrate Phira Saal at Conrad Pune’s Coriander Kitchen

A celebration of traditional Kashmiri Pandit cuisine will embark diners on a culinary journey to the Kashmir Valley

Conrad Pune is hosting Phira Saal, a celebration of traditional Kashmiri Pandit cuisine at Coriander Kitchen which will embark diners on a culinary journey to the Kashmir Valley. Phira Saal is a post wedding Kashmiri Pandit ritual wherein the bride’s immediate family visits the groom’s home laden with gifts and is welcomed with a sumptuous feast.

Commencing from January 20, the festival will showcase an extensive spread of traditional Kashmiri delicacies specially curated by Guest Chef Rahul Wali and Sunil Mattoo. The flavourful platter of the festival includes a plethora of vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian dishes that are majorly influenced by the recipes from Kashmiri Pandits in form of curated thalis for lunch between 12:30pm-3:30pm or exhaustive buffet spread for dinner between 7:00pm -11:00 pm. 

Enjoy mouth-watering appetisers such as Kabargah, Talith Gaad, Chicken Kanti, Palak Tikki Paneer Kanti, and many others. Enjoy mouthwatering Nadru Yakhni, Mutton/ Chicken Yakhni, Chicken Roganjosh, Mujj Gaad, Dum Aloo, Paneer Qaliya, and Kahwa for the main course before finishing with Subz Pulao and Saffron Rice and a calming Kashmiri Kahwa. The menu features delectable Kashmiri desserts like Saffron Phirni or kheer, and Shufta to satisfy your appetite for sugar rush.
