Clarks Safari has appointed Bhanwar Singh as the General Manager of Clarks Safari Ranthambore. Singh has an experience of more than 23 years in the field of hospitality.

A postgraduate from Agra University, Singh has extensive experience in the field of operations, sales and marketing. He started many projects from scratch and converted them into successful units. He has specialised in handling wilderness properties and lodges and has worked in hotels located in Ranthambore, Bandhavgarh and Dandeli among others.

At Clarks Safari Ranthambore, he will be responsible for overall managing the property, including general administration, revenue optimisation, building a trade network and implementing new technological advancements.

Singh said, “Hospitality is changing drastically, a lot of people are interested in wildlife and birding. Tourists are now more aware and are strictly abiding by responsible tourism. Located in one of the National Parks of India, I want to make tourists are sensitive towards the ecosystem of the place. My aim is to cut down on plastic waste and encourage recycling and rainwater harvesting on the property. At the same time, I will focus on building a robust technological infrastructure and increasing the reach of the trade partners. Adhering to the company policy, I am planning to push local employment, so that more employees will be hired locally and given world-class hospitality training.”
