Goa Marriott Resort and Spa has appointed Chef Balvinder Lubana as the new Executive Chef who comes with a distinct culinary experience. With a 16-year tenure in the hospitality industry, Chef Balvinder brings a wealth of experience from Indian and international luxury hotel chains such as Oberoi, Taj, Hyatt and Marriott Hotels. Throughout his career, he has honed his culinary skills under the mentorship of some of the finest chefs in the industry.
Hailing from Lucknow, Chef Balvinder's culinary passion was kindled at a young age, with his mother serving as one of his primary mentors. He graduated from the Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition – Meerut in 2008 and embarked on his career at The Oberoi New Delhi.
In his previous role, Chef Balvinder has served as the Executive Chef at Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre & Courtyard by Marriott Hyderabad. Now, in his current position at Goa Marriott Resort & Spa, he will be at the helm of the kitchen brigade, overseeing operations at all F&B outlets and infusing his distinctive styles and flavours.
