Themed as 'Reimagining Indian Hospitality', the event to showcase industry stalwarts over the five-day gala virtual discussion, over a plethora of topics on the theme of the event.

Themed ‘Reimagining Indian Hospitality’, the event will showcase industry stalwarts discussing a plethora of topics on the theme of the event.

During the inaugural session, Dr Anurag Batra, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief, BW Businessworld expresses that the aim of IHA 2020 is to give a platform to leaders from the industry to discuss challenges faced, explore methods of overcoming these very challenges and touch upon upcoming trends. “The last 5 months have been tough for the hospitality industry. With IHA 2020, let us hope for a new chapter for hospitality industry.”

Further talking about the theme of the event, Batra expresses that COVID-19 has taught leaders to reimagine business models with technology. “The pandemic has made us follow the 3C economy – collaborative, compassionate and contactless. This is the time to look at every fundamental aspect of business and going forwad the hospitality industry will become more personal.”

Furthermore, Bhuvanesh Khanna, CEO, BW Communities also present at the virtual event stressing that the hospitalityindustry is not a pushover said, “With spine and resilience, there is far more to us than the coronavirus pandemic would make the world believe. It is with this spirit that we set out to hold the BWH IHA 2020 against odds; and odds we did take on, quite in the spirit of the of jaako raakhe sayiyan, maar sake na koi.”

He shares his journey of successfully hosting the five-day virtual gala and believes that when one takes on an objective and goes about it then even the odds start favouring the individual and everything falls into place.
