To be responsible for developing and implementing the overall Marketing and PR strategies

The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat has announced the appointment of Anjali Yadav as the Assistant Manager Marketing & Communication. She will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall Marketing and PR strategies, supervising and elevating digital platforms and creating a sound network for the above mentioned functions for the property.

Yadav graduated from Amity University with a Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication. She then went on to pursue a Postgraduate Diploma in Corporate Communication and Event Management from Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication in New Delhi. She started off her career as a Public Relations intern, working in different verticals such as Education, Legal Advisory, and technology. As a PR Executive in 80dB Communication based in Gurgaon she was responsible for Client Servicing and Social Media. She then completely shifted her focus to working towards the hospitality sector such as Hilton Garden Inn as Marketing & Communications Executive. Her past roles include contributing on brands such as OLX, Cashify, Clovia, Rakuten India, Backstage FLYX, Spotify Greenroom, Enamor and Teamonk Global. 

She has completed a certification course on ‘Fundamentals of Digital marketing’ through the medium of Google ‘Digital Garage’.Besides being a scholar, she also participated actively in influencer marketing and became Campus Ambassador for the brand Proctor & Gamble in 2019 and created a high octane buzz around the campus via social media platforms. She also organised ‘ASCO Radio Awards Season 5’ at Amity University, Lucknow and volunteered for Color’s India’s Got Talent Audition Lucknow, 2016.
