Anantara Mina Al Arab Resort now welcoming guests

The resort boasts 174 rooms with a backdrop of the Hajar mountains

Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort has recently inaugurated its doors, marking the arrival of eco-luxury in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. Nestled on a private peninsula adorned with golden sands and natural mangroves, the resort boasts 174 rooms with a backdrop of the Hajar mountains and views of the Arabian Gulf.

The accommodations range from contemporary guest rooms to spacious suites, blending modern sophistication with locally inspired design elements. The resort, designed by Wilson Associates and Perkins Eastman, introduces Maldivian-inspired luxury, showcasing Ras Al Khaimah's first overwater villas with ample living space, private plunge pools, and dedicated villa host service.

Featuring six restaurants and bars, including Mekong, offering a culinary journey through Thailand, Vietnam, and China, and Beach House, inspired by Mediterranean living, the resort provides a variety of dining options. Guests can also opt for personalised dining experiences with Anantara's bespoke private dining concept, Dining by Design.

Immersing guests in the local culture, the resort offers signature experiences such as hiking on Jebel Jais, kayaking in mangroves, and luxury cruising in the Arabian Gulf. Ras Al Khaimah's nature and adventure offerings, including the world's longest zipline and tobogganing on Jebel Jais, provide adrenaline-fueled experiences.

For relaxation, Anantara Spa, set within manicured gardens overlooking the sea and mangroves, offers healing treatments with indigenous ingredients. The resort's commitment to sustainability is evident through its eco-friendly practices, including eliminating plastic use, reducing waste and energy consumption, and sustainably building accommodations.

As a prime destination for weddings, Ras Al Khaimah's accessibility through Dubai International Airport, less than an hour away, makes it an ideal location. Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotels, expressed confidence in the resort's positive reception, contributing to the growth and positioning of Ras Al Khaimah as a luxury tourist destination.

Sameh Muhtadi, CEO of RAK Properties, highlighted the significance of Anantara Mina Al Arab in realising the vision for Mina Al Arab and transforming it into a leading lifestyle destination within the emirate.
