Zista Education organise fourth edition of Global Hospitality Education Expo
GHEE 2021 will be held on a virtual fair platform on September 25, 2021
The fourth edition of India’s biggest hospitality and culinary-focused higher education event, Global Hospitality Education Expo (GHEE), is set to kick off on September 25, 2021. The expo is being organised on a world-class, easy-to-use virtual fair platform.
According to a recent TechSci Research report, the Indian hotel market is expected to grow from around $7.5 billion in 2019 to $16.8 billion by 2025, exhibiting a CAGR of nearly 15 per cent during the forecast period. The market is expected to grow on account of rising urbanisation, increasing foreign and domestic tourist arrivals, coupled with growing disposable income in the country. In the coming years, the market shall be positively affected by the increasing young working population and a rising number of dual-income families. The industry needs qualified personnel across all levels. Given that context, feeding, and building the talent pipeline is crucial.
“We are delighted to organize the fourth edition of the Global Hospitality Education Expo. Over time, it has become extremely popular with students who aspire to build a career in the culinary and hospitality space. The first edition of this went live in 2018 as an in-person event in Mumbai and Delhi. We took the expo to 5 cities, Mumbai, Jaipur, Kolkata, Delhi, and Bangalore, in 2019. In 2020, we pivoted to a virtual format. I was amazed to see the sheer appetite and interest of Indian students for a hospitality-focused event. Our virtual fair received registrations from 425+ cities and towns and 690+ schools and institutes across India. In other words, we were able to reach and make a positive impact on students in remote areas and tier 3 cities, not just the metros,” said Mitali Rawool, Assistant Director, Zista Education.
